Everyone has the right to work safely, and that includes window cleaners. For decades, working at height was simply accepted as an occupational hazard within the window cleaning industry. A water-fed pole system allows windows to be cleaned from the safety of the ground using telescopic poles. A soft bristled brush is used to scrub the dirt off the glass and frames, while jets of pure water rinse the window. The pure water dries to a spot-free finish, leaving no marks behind meaning the use of chemicals or detergents isn’t necessary.
Our fully insured and uniformed cleaners will provide immaculate, streak-free results whilst delivering a friendly, professional service which complies with all current health & safety legislation.
We do however appreciate some windows are out of reach of the water-fed pole system due to a lack of space or difficult angle. In some instances, ladders are required to gain sufficient access and space to get those hard-to-reach windows. Be assured capability, insurance and skill are not areas to worry about when you choose ClearView.
What is a water-fed pole stystem?
The water fed pole system utilizes cutting edge technology. A water fed pole is a long extendable pole with a brush head. Inside the pole a pump system dispenses purified water on demand. The water and the brush are all that are needed to clean dust, dirt, leaves, pollen and those pesky spider webs from exterior windows. The windows are then left to naturally dry. That’s all there is to it. It is a revolutionary way to clean hard to reach windows, skylights and roof lights.
Pure water, the science;
Purified water simply means water that’s free from any impurities. If you consider tap water, the impurities commonly found are mostly minerals such as calcium, magnesium, sodium and potassium. The label “Hard or soft” water if often used as a basic measure around the UK as the mineral content can vary from one place to another.
Pure water has all these elements removed, making the water ideal for window cleaning. Our pure water, more commonly known as de-ionised water, goes through five different stages of filtration that remove all minerals and dissolved solids in a process called reverse osmosis.
